I have translated the song into English, allegedly sung by Swami Vivekananda, which appeared in my previous post. I had told you that the lyrics are very appealing to the heart. Hope you like it. You may like to hear the song once again. A partly figurative translation.
Translation : Referring to the good Lord SHIVA.
Please don't make me thirsty for that which makes me forget YOU.
Don't kindle that love in me which makes you distant from my soul.
Don't ignite that flame of Knowledge which hides you from my inner vision.
Please don't lessen that anguish which brings me closer to you.
Please don't let me hear that song which doesn't speak of You.
Don't make me intoxicated in that which makes me unable to remember you.
Don't let me sail in that ocean of bliss which shuns your divine presence within it.
Don't let me hear those words which fail to mention you.
But please don't wipe away those tears which make you mine.
-To this I want to add today, 25th May 2019.
To my father, Lord SHIVA :
Don't curse me with money but please let me enter into the secrets of my passion and love for you.
Please make me blind, so that nobody else can be envisioned more by me than you.
Please let me die but let my fragrance of love for you remain so that it might add your perfume to other poor souls.-- Dr. Bibhash Chakravorty.
